Live performance information:

Ken Bateman performs as a solo folk singer utilizing many traditional instruments. Instruments include piano, concertina , dobro, acoustic and classic guitar, and violin. The performance utilizes state of the art microphones and amplification yet, at the low volume level, it is considered an acoustic performance.

The ideal venue spans from medium concert halls to smaller pubs and restaurants, outdoors and harbors..

The addition of sidemen (band musicians) is suitable at an extra expense for larger venues and concert settings where required.

Mr. Bateman travels with all required implements for performance. Lighting, stools, p.a. system, microphones, power connections, costumes, and props. An unrestricted area of about 6ft. by 10ft. is required for the solo performance.

The typical performance schedule is about 45 min. of uninterrupted performance, followed by 15min. Intermissions and may span from one to three hours or sets.
